Everyone will try to do things in their way, so what one can do is just try to give a security feeling towards others by just being there to be attentive.
Treat others like you want to be behaved toward, stay aloof, don't get involved with people’s problems if not being asked so even the bad luck may become a lucky situation. Build a small trust and stay harmonious.
