TAO DE JING NUMBER 22 & HEXAGRAM 38 FOR 08.08.2024

𝟬𝟴.𝟬𝟴.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗧𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗝𝗜𝗡𝗚 #𝟮𝟮 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗛𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝟯𝟴 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

• When you are flexible and adaptable, you can overcome challenges more easily. Just like how a tree that bends with the wind survives storms, being flexible allows you to navigate life's difficulties.

• Sometimes, you have to compromise or take a less direct path to achieve your goals. This means being open to different approaches and not always insisting on doing things your way

• By letting go of unnecessary things and thoughts, you create space for new opportunities and knowledge

• Success comes more readily when you don't brag about your achievements. Humility attracts genuine respect and success.

• By not engaging in unnecessary competition, you often find that you are left in peace and allowed to thrive.

This passage from Chapter 22 emphasizes the paradoxical nature of life and the wisdom in embracing opposites. It suggests that by yielding and understanding the dynamics of opposition, one can overcome and find harmony.

This aligns with the strategic actions advised by Hexagram 38, where embracing differences and seeking clarity through patience and open communication can lead to resolution and growth.

Now, let's see from Hexagram #38 with very simple understanding,  from element, trigram & strategy as well as what we usually missed :

𝐁𝐘 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

FIRE  symbolizing energy, transformation, and aggression, is placed over METAL which signifies strength, resilience, and often rigidity.

The interaction between these two elements suggests a situation where forces or individuals are at odds, leading to potential conflict or misunderstanding.

𝐁𝐘 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌

Li seeks clarity and action, while Dui desires harmony and openness. This can lead to a situation where there is a need for negotiation and mutual understanding to bridge differences.

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐘:

1. Recognize and accept that opposition and differences are natural. They can lead to growth if managed well.

2. Focus on clear communication and understanding the root causes of the opposition. Avoid assumptions and misinterpretations.

3. Patience is essential in dealing with opposition. Allow time for tensions to ease and for mutual understanding to develop.

4. Avoid aggressive confrontations and instead, look for constructive solutions.

5. Use the energy of Dui to foster joy and open lines of communication

𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

• Recognizing that opposition can lead to complementary strengths is crucial.

• Often, opposition arises from deeper emotional or psychological needs that are not being met. Addressing these underlying issues can help resolve the conflict.

• Strategic restraint and measured responses are necessary to prevent conflicts from worsening.
