After understanding the concept of production, let's now look at the concept of control.

Imagine elements—like Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, and Metal—as characters in a video game, each with its own strengths, weaknesses, and roles.

When one element "controls" another, it's like having a special power over that element, influencing it in a way that can bring you benefits, or what we call "wealth" in this context.

Wealth here isn't just money; it's anything of value to you. This could be happiness, health, knowledge, or relationships—basically, anything that enriches your life.

For instance, when you have the Wood element as your Day Master, either the 甲 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 or 乙 𝐘𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, the Earth will become your controlled element.

In this system, Earth elements are like treasures or resources that you can control and benefit from.

Why? Because in the cycle of elements, Wood has the capacity to control Earth. This is like having a key to a treasure chest.

Wood controlling Earth can be thought of as planting a garden. You (Wood) use the soil (Earth) to grow plants. Over time, these plants grow and can be harvested.

This is your "wealth" from the Earth—slow to come, but reliable and steady. It's not about quick wins or instant gains but about nurturing and patience, leading to a stable accumulation of wealth.

Additionally, we also need to understand that [in the real world] between this wood and earth, there also needs to be the presence of water to make the process healthier.

Adding water to this mix is like watering your garden. It doesn't directly create wealth, but it helps the process, making it healthier and more balanced.

Water ensures that Wood (you) and Earth (your wealth) interact in the most beneficial way, like nurturing your garden with enough water to help it grow but not too much to flood it.

If you were a "Fire" character instead, your wealth element would be Metal. Imagine that fire can melt and shape metal, which means you could create valuable tools or jewelry. This is a different kind of wealth—perhaps quicker to see results than the slow growth of wood controlling earth, but also requiring a different approach and skills.

In layman's terms, understanding your "element" helps you understand what kinds of wealth are available to you and how you can best grow and manage them. It's like knowing whether you're better at gardening (wood and earth) or blacksmithing (fire and metal), and then using that knowledge to gather resources and wealth in a way that suits your natural strengths.
