In Chinese Metaphysics, understanding your destiny starts with learning about the five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

To grasp the basics of this metaphysical journey and how it influences our life path, we'll begin with Water, known as 壬 (Ren) and 癸 [Gui] in Chinese.

We'll explore the energy of Water,  how it functions, and how its cycle of creation can be integrated into our daily lives and overall life journey.

Water Energy : Downward or decrease, flow to the lower terrain

Representation : adaptability, depth, and the capacity for calm reflection as well as powerful force. Being flexible, clarity of thought and emotion, which is crucial in making sound life decisions.

When it is imbalance :

being overly emotional, indecisive, or too adaptable to the point of losing one’s own shape and boundaries in life planning.

Or rigidity and fear of change, inflexibility in thinking, fear of the unknown, or an inability to move forward with life changes.

These characteristics of water are essential as it can give us wisdom, perspective, adaptability & flexibility.

Regardless of the character, there will be "emotion" involved. So, the ability to balance it by being mindful and regulating the emotion so clarity of mind can be achieved.
